IN OTHER WORDS,
PLEASE READ THESE TIPS BEFORE YOU COME!!!
**CASH OR CHECK ONLY!!! (We do accept WIC and Senior WIC)
A reminder that should we run out of fruit for picking, we will close our gate at 99W. We may also stay closed to allow for more fruit to ripen.
Beware of the squirrel and gopher holes in the ground. They are hard to see and contribute to the uneven ground.
We cannot allow individuals with walkers or canes in the orchard as it is too treacherous with the holes and uneven ground.
This year there will be times we are closed due to fruit not being ripe or unavailable. Should we sell out of fruit, we may close the orchard early. Please call first before you come out to prevent disappointment in finding we are closed. Some of the crops are very small this year and we will close until we have sufficient crops to pick. The phone line may be more reliable and up-to-date than the website.
Please bring containers to take your fruit home with you.
PLEASE do not come to the orchard in the afternoon if it is too hot! The orchard is really too hot to pick fruit and we discourage you from coming when the temperature is above 85 degrees in the afternoons.
PLEASE bring containers to take your fruit home in.
*NO DOGS OR PETS ALLOWED!!! Please leave them home!
*No children allowed on ladders- adults only!
*Please do not come to pick at the orchard if you use a cane or crutches. Our grounds are uneven and it is dangerous to have you walking through the orchard.
*Absolutely NO CLIMBING on our trees.
*PLEASE DRIVE 5 MPH UP THE ROAD!
*Wear sturdy shoes- NO FLIP FLOPS, CROCS, SANDALS WITH OPEN TOES or HEELS.
*Please bring your own bags or boxes. We have some available, but it would be helpful if you bring your own to take your fruit home.
